1. Install the game. Update game, apply NO-CD if necessary.

2. Download attachment, extract to HD, NOT in Gamefolder.

3. Run UltraARC_mod, Browse/Select Your installed game, then choose output location.

I've got 8 DVDs
DVD1 - DVD7 = 4.37Gb
DVD8 = 3.08Gb

@7777 It says 8 x dvd5 in the post title not say how big each is so not a problem with that as sort once done it

Done this and takes 7 hour 50 mins my system, but install time as 4 hours plus so slow installer for this and DVD sizes are as you stated there;):) ;):)

Compress : Srep, Time 1h34min. Final 10xDVD5, DVD10: 1.19gb

Compress : Srep+lzma, Time 6h37min. Final 8xDVD5
DVD1 - DVD7 : 4.36 GB, DVD8 : 3.49 GB

how to convert dvd9

Edit ultraArc.ini with the following values:
save changes

those values are for this version only. For Other Conversions, READ FIRST POST !

with later updates SP is now 43.3GB, SP/MP is 52.2GB, could you update setup for each of the versions?

Updated version 1.13 is 62.2GB

I'made my installer but after installing, the game doesn't run.
I installed the game by omdj installer, then updated it to v1.13 and it runs with no problem. (D:\test\CoD MW Remaster)
then i compressed the game and used my installer to install. (D:\new test\CoD MW Remaster) but after installing the game, it doesn't run. it shows an error {the application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application}

but when I deleted the game files inside D:\test\CoD MW Remaster and moved new installed files which are in D:\new test\CoD MW Remaster into that folder, game runs with no prolem. I don't know if its a temporary error or this game has reg keys. I can not find them in regedit. does anybody have those reg keys? (if it is existed)

Or maybe the game files are corrupted. I do the conversion again

It probably has reg entries, making a copy of fresh installed game, then uninstall original install so nothing remains ( game itself & reg entries ) then test to see if game runs ok. If it does make sure to delete the uninstall files then recompress the game.

Dont forget this is a very old version of CIU V2 !! so your compression method may not be supported, and a new updated converion will need to be done.

OK, I found my problem. it was strange.
in my installer I used "Call of Duty Modern Warfare - Remastered"

if I remove the "-" mark the game runs with no error.
I changed the game folder to "Call of Duty Modern Warfare Remastered", and problem solved.

by the way, I used this method
game size was:62.2GB
result: 10 DVD5s
15:02:31 - Starting Archive Creation
22:55:45 - Archive Creation Complete
22:55:47 - Original Size: 62.187g
22:55:47 - Compressed Size: 42.025g

install time: 45min

This game use really lz4 compression?

in "Best Compression Methods" topic, I saw that this method was used, so I used that too.
with srep+lzma the result was 11 DVDs and longer install time.
