Need a trusted cmd file splitter for splitting archives

as the title said I need a cmd trusted one to split & joiner arc files by size :)
I know there are many in google but each one has its own method so I hope someone here has a good splitter which works without a problem on arc archives :) I saw a one in ultra arc but no output of it so I couldn't use it :)

Let me understand you have to split a archive file in size?

yes split one archive to smaller files by size
I used this tool it works fine "SplitSat" but if there is a better one

I found SplitSat on encode.ru a basic splitter in dos ... if you are interested I can give you a GUI that can split any files or archive in size while maintaining the extension name, logically the archive before being extracted you must join it with the same utility and then extract.

If you need a bat code to split the files in size you can try to create it, for problems, I need help internet is your friend, you can register and ask for help here http://www.dostips.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=3:) or wait for someone to write the code yourself, but do not think it's the best way to learn something about batch programming.;)

no i never meant to make a batch to split 'cause it's easy to split a file using batch but this method is not safe to use with archives 'cause the lines will be not equal so as the size ... it's good with txt files
what I meant I need a command line tool to split archives like the one used by razor then i'll use it with some batches :) so if someone used a tool like what i said & has no problem with it that's what i need exactly ^_^

All utility of splitting and compression here on the forum use the division of the data folder and then the compression of the same .. Perhaps what you are looking for is something similar? http://www.fileforums.com/showthread...ighlight=split. with the split.exe By Razor
