1. Install the game. Update game, apply NO-CD if necessary.
2. Download attachment, extract to HD, NOT in Gamefolder.
2a. Move _CommonRedist to output folder (last dvd).
Code:

[Launch1]
Name=DirectX
32Exe={src}\_CommonRedist\DirectX\Jun2010\DXSETUP.exe
Argument=/silent
BeforeInstall=0

[Launch2]
Name=Visual C++ 2010
32Exe={src}\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2010\vcredist_x86.exe
64Exe={src}\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2010\vcredist_x64.exe
Argument=/q /norestart
BeforeInstall=0

[Launch3]
Name=Visual C++ 2012
32Exe={src}\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2012\vcredist_x86.exe
64Exe={src}\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2012\vcredist_x64.exe

3. Run UltraARC, Browse/Select Your installed game, then choose output location. Select the compression method to use.
4. Make iso files with the same name of folders.
5. Test the conversion, before burning ISO.

Enjoy conversion making!!! :)

Thanks for the GOTY version omdj!

Just tested, works perfectly fine on Win10 x64.

1 BR volume, final size 15.807Mb (threshold set at 100%).

Just one little mad_to_the_bone detail: Installed app still called "Project Cars" instead of "Project Cars - Game Of The Year Edition" (as original does)

Kind regards and thanks indeed for your time!

Hi is not the first conversion that tested his and other User, and almost always the shortcut calls Uninstall.exe file, not the executable.

Still thank you for the work.

You've been told numerous times that the uninstall shortcut actually runs the installer which makes you click on play link from within the installer. omdj designed it that way for a reason.

I understand what you wanted to talk more on the start menu it creates two options that starts and also has the option to uninstall, and the other option really is to just uninstall and it is this that is created on the desktop, follow the images.

This is created only in the start menu.

And that is created in the start menu and Desktop.

Man I do not understand because you always have problems with this...:confused:

elbubi 21-05-2016 05:09

I did not experienced Maxgrillo issue.

My only DESKTOP shortcut created in effect calls uninstall string, but with a command line option that doesn't trigger uninstall itself but the one with options to "exit/website/uninstall/play32bit/play64bit.

For me is perfect this way.

Cheers!

DVD 1 to DVD 3 Size 4.37 GB

DVD 4 Size 3.12 GB

Thank you omdj

Another amazing, stunning and wonderful conversion!
Worked to me like a charm!
I got 4 DVDs:
1-3 DVD = 4.37GB
4 DVD = 3.10GB

I liked a lot this style and the shortcut is working fine - it's from unnistall but you can play from 32 or 64 bits exe! Cool!

I only think you could put support to Portuguese (Brazil) language that the game has support. But no matter! ^^

Please make one of this conversion for Assetto Corsa - another amazing Car Simulator game!

Thank you for this amazed work!
Keep going is this way!

I used the fixed setup... it's weird, I only see Portuguese (Portugal) but it isn't a problem, no worry about. ;)

Edit: I see now the new setup file! Thank you again!

Done this with no problems at all and got 15.3gb file as did as Bdr25 and all done in 42 minutes.
Installs in around 12 mins and runs perfect from the shortcut which has the play button right hand corner which says Play 64 bits as others think it not do by looks comments.
