It is imposible to play in my DC copied games.....
I just buy my DC a while ago, cause a friend got really nice games (you know, copied ones)
He told me he was going to burn these games for free. Well, I ran into a shop and buy a new DC, that includes 2 Sonic Games (Sonic Adventure; Sonic Shuffle) and a VMU... He gave out the games, but when I was about to play it, the games just didn't worked at all. He gave me an Utopia Boot Disc VI1.1, but it didn't worked... I just want to know how in the world I can "hack" my DC, or what I really need to play these games, the same ones my friend plays in his DC. I wll be thankfull if someone could help me out. |
could always try a different type of bootdisk.

I've heard of this before. Try this use CDIrip to extract the iso from the cdi image then use bin2boot to make it selfbooting again and it should work. I haven't tried this myself because i've never had any problems but heh it's worth a try :)

How old is your DC.
You say you bought it recent, and i know that Sega have changed the revision to stop the DC booting copied games. Since you cannnot play ANY copied games, it seams rather a coincidence. Galway |
