Supported Install Languages:

Instructions:

1. Install the game, Update the game if you wish & Apply No-CD patch if necessary

2. Download & Extract the attachment Assetto.rar anywhere you want, NOT the game's install folder.

(Note: If you have game version 1.2.1, download Assetto Corsa (2xDVD5) Update v1.2.1)

3. Run compress.bat file and type in the path to where you installed the game), press ENTER and wait for finished message.

Note: At this time you can add additional files to AC folder, Soundtrack, wallpapers etc.

4. Create ISO files automatically or with your preferred software.

5. Test the conversion before burning

yes fit in 1xDVD5

I tried to retrace with updates up to 1.2.1 and not sure gave data.cab stayed with 5.05 GB.

Even made a modification to create 2 cab's more error setup is asking the data.cab not think the data1.cab.
all this to fit and 2 DVD5

Will your conversion works well with v1.4.3 + DLCs ?

obviously not as it says only uses fileslist from update 1.21
but to be 100% sure check the file list see if any files missing.

I know this thread is old & I'm sorry for bumping it up but I worked on this conversion with ahmetbtmn a long time ago.

I just wanted to inform that I'm currently working on updating & upgrading this conversion, both the Setup & Compression, the new version when ready will be posted separately and should be compatible with ALL versions of the game.

Hope you'll like the new & updated version, should be ready in a few days (maybe even a day or two).

I'm afraid testing compression for the updated version of the Assetto Corsa conversion takes longer than I expected, I'm trying to make it fit 2xDVD5 completely updated with all DLCs, right now it's 2xDVD5 & Change (meaning a 3rd disc of around 300MB), hopefully I succeed and I can release the updated version by Sunday, but it can take even longer (possibly mid-week).

I can already tell you this much, considering the game size when it's fully updated with all DLCs (around 40GB), the compression time will be considerably longer than the original posted conversion (little over 3 hours so far in every attempt I made)


UPDATE: My last attempt yielded better result, much better, managed to compress the 40GB game into 3.80GB 1xDVD5, but unfortunately It got me a CRC Checksum error on install, trying again.

UPDATE 2: Due to Compression/Decompression issues the updated version of the Assetto Corsa conversion will most likely be delayed, sorry.
