Tested on: Win7 Home Premium 64bit and Win7 Ultimate 32bit.

1. Install the game (this is tested on GOG Enhanced Edition version but it should be compatible with all the other versions)
2. Extract attachment somewhere on your computer, NOT in the game installation directory
3. Run compressor.bat, enter game path and wait
4. Go to your Shared documents (Public if you're using Win7) and compress folder The Witcher with maximum compression in FreeArc and name it Data3.cab, then move it to DVD2
5. Burn DVD folder (test before burning)

P.S.
The game won't fit on DVD5 with one language unless you compress some of the movies so don't ask for it :D Also, if you only want to delete some of the languages these are the ID codes

11 French
12 Spanish
13 Italian
14 Russian
15 Czech
16 Hungarian

so you know which files to delete from your game folder.

Thank you for the conversion mate. You finished it despite pc problems, respect :) . Finally can i format my pc, oh glorious time....nah just joking lol.I hate formating my pc :( . I am grateful nonetheless :)

Now that the pleasantries are out of the way we can come to the problems..
The conversion is done ( took me almost 2 and a half hours ) but the outcome is less than good. I am left with 2 cab files : data1.cab 6.71 gb and data2.cab 995 mb . Either something went wrong during my compression or you made a mistake somewhere ;) . Can you look into it?

EDIT: Should i have removed all other languages from the game folder first?

You can remove the languages you don't want to or you can move them to Data2.lst. I didn't had time to test it with this multilanguage thingy hence the Data1.cab size :D I just have to move some of the language files to the Data2.lst and voila. Problem is solved :D

I tried your conversion again. This time i deleted every other language and got the game folder down to 8.33 gb. Then i edited the bat file and changed compression to m0, like this it takes 5 min to finish :) , and got data1.cab 7.06 gb and data2.cab 995 mb .
Even with eng only data1.cab is to big :( . Some things must be moved to data2.lst but i don't know what ;)
P.S. is 8.33 gb the correct size for eng only? I deleted every other language file i could find. Was just wondering if i got em all :)

If you want only one language with no compression, your Data2.lst should look like this (of course, delete these files from the Data1.lst :D):

And yes, that's the size for the English only ;)

I am gonna give it a try now :) . Will you update your attachment? I mean its not really working because data1.cab is too big, no matter the compression or number of languages. Just move some files to data2.lst

Done as you asked. Now data1.cab is 3.85 gb and data2.cab 4.17 gb. After i add data3.cab 335 mb to dvd2 it gets to big... 4.49 gb. I will need to compress data2.cab a bit but i don't know value to use. Can someone tell me? As you can see data2.cab will need to loose some fat, ~150 mb, to fit into second dvd ;)

Totally forgot about that :D Try using -m4 or -m7 value.

6.10 GB with one lang + lossless xbox 360 videos :)

Just wanted to report back. I used -m1 on data2.cab and got it down to 2.5 gb. Didn't want to have to much free space left on second dvd :D . That's why i put some of the bonus content ( wallpaper,soundtrack) on the second dvd. Final result : DVD1 3.91 gb , DVD2 3.23 gb english only .
The installer is beautiful and worked flawlessly on my windows 7 ultimate sp1. Awesome work mate. Was definitely worth waiting :)

For the love of god, someone help me! I am layman and do not know how edit files to correctly divide the size in each Data.cab. Please, someone could tell me step by step what to do to be approximately 4GB on each DVD? And I can not find the folder from step 4! Sorry my bad english :'(

For step 4, you should enable to view hidden folders if I'm not mistaken, the game is installed on my other computer so I'm not sure. As for other steps, you need to delete language files you don't want from the game folder. You'll see that they have numbers which I've written under the steps of conversion. Did you already done the conversion? Which size are your cab files?
