1) Extract 'DirtShowdown_1xDVD5.rar' contents

2) Remove the following foreign languages folders from audio/speech:

es

it

fre... etc



not delete the folder "eng"

whether to keep another language besides English, leave the folder for your language with the English language

3) Launch FreeArc and then compress 'cars' folder in the root of game's installation folder:

Code:

Output archive: Data1.bin

Compression: -mx -ld800m

Make exe: Not checked

4) Launch FreeArc and then compress 'tracks' folder in the root of game's installation folder:

Code:

Output archive: Data2.bin

Compression: -mx -ld800m

Make exe: Not checked

5) Launch FreeArc and then compress 'audio' folder in the root of game's installation folder:

Code:

Output archive: Data3.bin

Compression: -mx -ld800m

Make exe: Not checked

6) and then compress all files/folders, except:

Code:

cars

tracks

audio

Code:

Output archive: Data4.bin

Compression: -mx -ld800m

Make exe: Not checked

7) Move to "DirtShowdown_1xDVD5" folder

Code:

Data1.bin

Data2.bin

Data3.bin

Data4.bin

8) Burn or make isos with label names of your choice

Thanks for Conversion. Installation and Uninstalltion Works perfectly.and what is final size of the disk (english)?
mine is 3.54GB. setup did not it install icon in Game explorer. please specify how to add game to game explorer.

Well... that may work!
At very least, after unpacking the installer, there were no registry entries related to different languages. There were no reg entries at all! So go ahead and it should work.

Yener's has not invented anything, and the steps I follow in my conversion, so you know, my post was created long before your friend Yener's, for the next conversion will not put logos personal, but a firm as it does Yener's on if I put my signature but not a logo. who likes the version of Yener's ahead! go to the post of Yener's. and comment on the post of Yener's.

should not worry about the registry entries, as is steam verison, choose the language to add language selector FLT.

Considering there are NO registry restrictions or (for now) something that SCREW the game, should people use another languages other than english, so why just "eng" and "ita" (I'll understand if "eng" is "obrigatory" for convert in any another language)?
Plus, the languages avaliable in your installer are "eng" and "spa". Of course it doesn' mean anything but... :confused:

That's because it's NOT everyone who likes to see their own backups looking like something they downloaded from "the DAMN scene". Take a look:

KillerOh, first, before you criticize, I would like to see your Pors, my dear genius!, I would like you to stop into my posts, if it bothers you so much my logo, one way or another, each creating an installer parsona leaves its mark in some way, my way is to put logo, go fight somewhere else KillerOh, people who do not value the contributions of others!.

The language is independent of the game, the installer is in the language (ENGLISH and SPANISH). you choose, bye!

chester444, both of you are right and neither of you is so I won't take sides. However, I also recommend that you either leave out your logo from your conversion(s) entirely or make a note about how to remove it/do the conversion without it. Otherwise, you'll get more of complaints about such unusual (on this forum) stuff which will frustrate you even more. This is just how things work, you can't change it. ;)

I've asked that because InnoSetup is able to "restrict" some content to be installer depending of the language...

Y'know, just SCREW it. Your installer is nice, yet simple. AND I LIKE simple installers. Good work.

KillerOh leave the discussion aside, there are times when a person misinterprets the views, also I apologize friend, from now on perfecting ire and accepting suggestions for future conversions.
