nice job bud :)

peter's added couple more settings then 'normal' to achieve better compression
but is it at the risk of causing more issues on everyday users's PC's ??

Code:

Compression=lzma2/ultra64
LZMADictionarySize=65536
CompressionThreads=2
LZMANumFastBytes=273
SolidCompression=yes
LZMAUseSeparateProcess=yes

According to the documentation with INNO some of those settings seem better suited for X64 systems, which not everyone runs. Who am i to judge, peter's conversions work spectacularly and most of the time without major issues. Hopefully he can figure out what causes the issues & can fix it. :confused:

holy crap that is one hell of a script. How did you learn all this?! I'm still trying to figure out how to make the window art take up the full window of the installer, like here: http://fileforums.com/showthread.php?t=88919

By the way, if you know how I'd be grateful. Thanks for sharing your work!

Here it is,however you can't use the script for installation, its only a redesign of welcome page (no notify events,buttons disabled)

BGI.bmp & Button.bmp were extracted from yener90's Venetica conversion

Also the Launcher the View Manual and View Readme options don't work.
After the installation of the game the View Manual option works, but the View Readme continues not working (it instructs me to insert the Force Unleashed 2 DVD)
Using the original launcher on the disc I get this as well. I noticed Peter put in a launcher.exe in his conversion package, but it doesn't fix it. Anyone manage to examine launcher.exe and find out what file it's looking for when the view manual & view readme links are clicked?

Even activision has a kb article about it here!

EDIT: Well who knew, I just figured it out. The launcher is looking to open the file Support\Star_Wars®_The_Force_Unleashed™_II_Manual-EN.pdf
LucasArts accidentally named the file "Star_Wars™_The_Force_Unleashed™_II_Manual-EN.pdf". So basically swap out the ™ for ® and you're golden!

Someone has the solution to this error?

pakrat2k2 17-04-2011 22:14

you missed the trailing \ after 2

IE:

#define SourcePath "D:\Program Files(x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Il Potere della Forza 2\"
