"game.dat has stopped working"
 

Hi,
I have had an error when trying to play my Command and Conquer Game whenever i start the game it gives me a msg "game.dat has stopped working" now i have come accross a very helpfull forum to possibly resolve this problem but i am having trouble with understanding it the forum is here: http://www.gamedathasstoppedworking.blogspot.com has anyone encountered this problem before?

Does this happen with your original without the crack?

What Command and Conquer anyway?
