Sacred 2 - v2.4
What about an fix for the newest Update with Phsyx? :)
|
There is no need for a fix as no disk is required to play.
|
That's right, there is no need for a crack.
Still this DRM activation is a really bad thing. |
Sacred2 is a bugfest. Just read the patch notes to the 5-6 already released patches...The original Sacred was pretty much the same, and became playable when the Sacred Underworld's final patch was released. What Ascaron did is the same thing we see so often in the last two years: customers doing the job that beta-testers should do....
But, hey, at least you don't have install limits and it's a small chance that Ascaron will repeat the stunt they did in the final patch for the original Sacred and remove the protection. |
So does this mean that v2.40 is playable without a fix?
At the moment - 2.34 with latest fix working is working fine for me. So if I upgrade to 2.40, everything will be working as it is now? I just don't want to mess up my installation because it takes a really long time to reinstall. |
You don't even need a fix for any version.
|
As long as you have an original copy, that can be authenticated on Ascaron's servers, you don't need a fix. From the first version, there was no need for a crack (unless you are someone who's pirating the game...).
|
edit: it was allready answered above. thanks.
edit 2: of course I am. I'm not going to buy another copy for every occasion or PC I install this on, so yes I am looking for the protection workaround. |
hmm, there's no revoke feature for the product activation?
http://www.unlock.sacred2.com/ looks like there is, if you read deep enough, which shoots down your 'protection workaround needed' argument 4neocodex... |
There is, i already used revoke TippeX once ;)
|
Awesome game, deffinetly worth its $ :).
LE: sorry didnt notice how old this thread was. Not wanting to bump it or anything [no reason either]. |
