Red Alert 3 Uprising ENG DVD9 to 2xDVD5 install sequence 1-2-1

download modified autorun.dat

1) Create Disk 1 and Disk 2 folders and copy DVD content to DVD1

2)extract and replace downloaded autorun.dat to Disk 1 folder

3) Move these cabs to Disk 2

Core_5.cab
Core_6.cab
Core_7.cab


4) Copy Autorun.exe and Autorun.inf to Disk 2

5) Edit Autorun.inf in DVD2 and change

6) Burn or make isos with labels Disk 1,Disk 2

kapto your FIRST post worked perfectly.. if others got errors make sure to save file after making changes otherwise it doesnt save them.

not multiX installer

1) Copy game to temp folder

2) Extract attached files to temp folder [replace autorun.dat]

3) Run 01_Recompres.bat and wait until finish
[maybe need to copy cabarc.exe to windows\system32\]
take a lot of time and some additional GB on hdd

3a)all new recompressed archives stored into temp\CompressedCabs
move all that files to temp folder and del CompressedCabs

4) Move from temp\Data to temp\ files
EnglishMovieAudio.big
EnglishAudio.big

4a) Delete in temp\Data\Movies
RECAPFS_CS.vp6
RECAPFS_HU.vp6
RECAPFS_KO.vp6
RECAPFS_PL.vp6
RECAPFS_TC.vp6
RECAPFS_TH.vp6
RECAPFS_UK.vp6
added: make fake files for all files what you delete

5) Run Data1.bat and/or Data2.cab and wait until finish
cabarc use only one core then u can run two bat's at the same time

6) Make image with original label and test it

Not tested too many times
Probably i miss some info/files :P

that conversion is for one lang english not for multiX version :)

i find it!
edit whit orca in autorun.dat (FROM MONDRAGON RAR FILE) and go in
FILE and delete SEQUENCE 305,306...311. now SETUP works great.

LOL, didn't notice that. %CD% (full path to current folder) don't work when path has empty spaces, it should be "%CD%" but like you suggested its best to use .\ (current folder) or just "if exist cabarc.exe"

So if mondragon you could fix that in bat file

"maybe copy cabarc.exe to system32 folder" (not needed)

I think mondragon said that because if i remember right, i suggested that cabarc.exe is best to copy into system32 folder when using this script but i forgot mention that it is only suggested when you intend to use it often (so you just need to copy bat file where it is needed) or want to add batch file to sendto right click menu

mondragon can you do the same for Command And Conquer Red Alert 3?
