CoD5 cannot load binkw32.dll
 

Hello lads,

Whenever I try to start op CoD5 it finds ways to not start up the game,first it kept going on about "binkw32.dll not found". Now I used a new DVD crack found on GCW and it bugs me with "can't find entrypoint for _BinkSetMemory@ in DLL-file binkw32.dll".

I'm slowly going nuts here,anyone have any answers on this prob?

Reinstall the game.

Did that. Just seems the crack aint workin'

without the crack does the game work?

Try to install RAD Video Tools and copy binkw32.dll from its dir to the dir of game. But reinstall should help...;)

Thanks for all the pointers guys,but whatever I seem to do,the problem won't go away. Nothings changing...:(

Try Sysinternals' ProcMon to see where the game searches for the DLL (and then doesn't find it).

again (dabhand asked, but you did not answer)... does it work using the original disk and original exe (ie: NOT the crack) ?

Thats no use, as it has been known for copy protections to use an amended binkw32.dll for protection use also.

have you tried another game installer? maybe the installer is corrupt or something.

Did you copy the crack into the installation folder and renamed it to CoDWaWmp.exe?

Same problem bro here but with GTAIV crack says binkw32 bink set memory not found

have you tried reinstalling the game? did it worked before or you haven't made it to work?

So you know you wont get help for that, as GTA4's crack circumvents online authentication which is not supported here.

Just so you wondered why you didnt get help :P
