GTA SA help!
 

I have gta san andreas second edition for pc, and I have a bug of some sort. I can play it, but everytime i interact with any one (a civilian or such) the game freezes and it shows the error report message, or it just freezes, and i have to reboot my computer. Any tips?

What's a second edition? Does this occur with or without a crack? Have you tried tinkering with your audio settings (game as well as OS)?

Just as a guess I would say the Second Edition is the 'Edited' version which has some of the content removed as the First Edition was banned in a few countries. ;)

or its including the 1.1 patch, which 'blocks' the hot coffee thing :)

i dont wanna get banned or anything, but yes i use a no cd crack. It's like this. the disc is a dvd, and my computer has only a cd capibility. I installed it into a dvd computer, then copied all the files to my usb, there fore transfering it to my pc. I still could not play it, so i downloaded... a no cd thing (plz dont ban me!!!). My audio works for the game, but ya, thats it... hope a get a reply!

errr buy a dvd rom for starters :) You know they are quite cheap these days. And doesnt take an expert to install.

Also the cracks are mostly for the non-patched version of GTA:SA, so that is probably why you get some errors due to the crack being for that type of version and not for the one without the naughty bits :P

ok well i got a dvd drive, and i installed it. But for some reason, rockstar games doesn't allow you to mod in gta sa. If you do, it will load almost half way, and stop there. After about 30-40 seconds, it shows the error report message. I downloaded the downgrader so it could mod again, and it works! I could mod and still play the game. The only draw back is that you can't run CLEO mods, which just doesn't even run the game. The very next day, I try to play agin (without CLEO mods), and the game doesn't work. It could run, but it stops halfway AGAIN! I tried to reinstall the downgrader, but it still doesn't work. HELP!!!

Best thing, since you have a legal edition of the game, is to contact Rockstar games for support.

u installed the patch ?

No, the game came like this. I also sent a reply to the support, and they just said GTA SA does strongly goes against mods, which can cause glitches in my game. Now what! HELP!!!!

install the patch may be work.

gta sa second edition already has patch 1.01 installed with it, so the patch would do nothing
