Use one of the following conversions:
I can't remember who did the original conversions. The files needed is attached.

Beowulf (ENG) (DVD9 to 1 DVD5)

1) Create a Temp folder on your hardrive.
Name this folder: Beowulf. This will NOT be the name (Label) of our DVD.
The label of our DVD will be: DISK1

2) Copy all the contents from the original DVD9 disc to the Beowulf folder.

3) Inside Beowulf folder there is a folder named ‘Disk1’.

4) Move the data3.cab file from the Disk2 folder to the Disk1 folder.
5) Move the data4.cab file from the Disk3 folder to the same Disk1 folder.
6) Move the data5.cab file from the Disk4 folder to the same Disk1 folder.
7) Move the data6.cab file from the Disk5 folder to the same Disk1 folder.
8) Move the data7.cab file from the Disk6 folder to the same Disk1 folder.
9) Move the data8.cab file from the Disk7 folder to the same Disk1 folder.
10) Move the data9.cab file from the Disk8 folder to the same Disk1 folder.

11) Download iscab from HERE and extract the contents of the rar file to the Disk1 folder. Overwrite any files when prompted.

12) Download the English Only list.txt file from HERE and extract the contents of the rar file to the Disk1 folder.

13) Click on the Start Menu Button and go to RUN. Type in: cmd
Then click OK. The command window will appear.

Type in the command to take you directly to the second Disk1 folder.
For Example if you are doing the conversion in the root of your ‘C’ drive and have followed the instructions correctly by using the same Folder names and paths then you would type:

cd C:BeowulfDisk1

Note: The ‘cd’ means ‘Change Directory’. The above command will take you to the correct folder.

Now once in the correct folder, type the following:

ISCAB data1.cab -r -i"list_eng.txt"

Please note the ‘SPACES’ in the command!

ISCABSPACEdata1.cabSPACE-rSPACE-i"list_eng.txt"
(I have bolded the word SPACE to show you where there needs to be a space in the command. Do NOT type the word SPACE!)

Wait until iscab finishes doing its job then close the ‘cmd’ window.

14) In Windows, go back to the Disk1 folder and Delete the following files:

data4.cab
data5.cab
data6.cab
data7.cab
data8.cab
data9.cab
dvd9to2xdvd5.bat
dvd9to2xdvd5.txt
make_list.bat
ISCAB.exe
MediaBuild40.dll

NOTE: Do NOT Delete the ‘layout.bin’ file!

15) Move the data3.cab file from the Disk1 folder to the Disk2 folder.

16) Inside the Disk1 folder is a folder named: Support
Open this Support folder and Delete all the Folders and Files, EXCEPT the DirectX folder!
NOTE: Keep the actual Support Folder and keep the DirectX folder.

17) Inside the Disk1 folder is a folder named: Media
Open the Media folder and Delete the following files:

Autorun_es.dds
Autorun_fr.dds
Autorun_it.dds
Autorun_de.dds

18) Open the DirectX9 folder, (It’s inside the DirectX folder, which is inside the Support folder).
Delete all the files inside the DirectX9 folder. Do NOT Delete the actual DirectX9 folder!

19) Download the DirectX Web Setup rar file from HERE and extract the contents of the rar file to the DirectX9 folder.

20) Create another folder/s for any Updates, Serial, Patches and or Cracks etc.
NOTE: Name this/these folder/s whatever you want.

21) Burn the contents of the Beowulf folder to a DVD with the Label: DISK1

Or this one:

Beowulf (Multi) (DVD9 to 2 DVD5''s)

1) Create two Temp folders on your hardrive.
Name one folder: DISK1. This will be the name (Label) of DVD1.
Name the other folder: DISK2. This will be the name (Label) of DVD2.

DVD1
2) Copy all the contents from the original DVD9 disc to the DISK1 folder.

3) Delete the following 2 folders from the DISK1 folder:

Disk7
Disk8

4) Burn the contents of the DISK1 folder to a DVD with the Label: DISK1

DVD2
5) Copy all the contents from the original DVD9 disc to the DISK2 folder.

6) Delete the following folders from the DISK2 folder:

Disk1
Disk2
Disk3
Disk4
Disk5
Disk6

7) Create another folder/s for any Updates, Serial, Patches and or Cracks etc.
NOTE: Name this/these folder/s whatever you want.

8) Burn the contents of the DISK2 folder to a DVD with the Label: DISK2

Both conversions posted by 'Little' were originally created by 'Mondragon'.
Both are the same conversions posted by Mondragon in his first post of this thread, they were just re-written by me to add more detail when I posted them on cd-2-dvd.com. :)

'Little' has also posted the files needed which are now missing from Mondragon's original post.

Thanks for adding those files 'Little'. Saved me searching for them myself. ;)

dvd9 to discharge 1xdvd5 not work.

pakrat2k2 28-11-2012 17:16

because its actually mislabeled.. reading the instructions it will be 2xdvd5... ( for both conversions Little re-wrote. They BOTH have Disk1 & Disk2 !

nene777 03-12-2012 12:49

I can not go from step 16, in my Disk1 folder in the Support folder, no folder Directx or Media. These are outside the Disk1 folder. Help.

pakrat2k2 03-12-2012 14:45

then move the Directx folder into the support folder in Disk1.

nene777 04-12-2012 11:13

If I move the folder "directx" in support and "media" within Disk1, leaving the original folders where they were, if it works but I get this error: CRC error. The file does not match the file. Cab installation program. Perhaps the media from which you are running the installation program is damaged, contact the software vendor.

I think the manual is poorly specified.

nene777 26-03-2013 20:52

The method is poorly explained 1xDVD (giving errors), the method 2xDVD (at the end of the installation also gives CRC errors).

Little 26-03-2013 23:06

nene777

I just installed my 2 dvd version and it also gives a crc error at the end. Just click ignore and the installation will finish and the game works. The crc error has nothing to do with the game files. I think it has to do with DirectX.
