Conflict Denied Ops full/ complete backup 2xdvd5

1. copy dvd9 to temp folder - Disk1
2. open Conflict Denied Ops.msi in orca
   edit media [check screenshot]
   Attachment 1001
   
   edit file tables [check screenshot]
   Attachment 1000
   sort by filesize and for the seven biggest file need to be change the column "sequence"
   save msi
3. create folder inside temp folder disk1 - disk2
4. move that 7 biggest file [recurse subdirectories - create the same direectories ]
   disk1 is our temp folder where contents of dvd9 is

check if installer needs disk1 after disk2 [dont burn image . mount in daemon tools or similar]

3. open "Conflict Denied Ops.msi" in orca
   drop tables:
   media
   file
   import tables:

   file
   save msi
4. u can edit media tables [i skip some part's ]
5. run from main menu 3 bat files [dont run only that u wish to leave lang]
   example for english conversion run:
   fake_french.bat
   fake_italian.bat
   fake_spanish.bat
6. go to folder:
   \program files\Eidos\Conflict Denied Ops\
   run
   0.bat - for one core cpu
   or
   1.bat and 2.bat [at the same time] - for dual/quad core cpu
   NOTE:
   need in temp folder [windows temp not where game temp] 2gb or 4gb for 1 and 2 bat at the same time [maybe less]
7. after cmd window close delete:

Go to the 'Property' Table and delete INSTALL_GAMESHADOW and LAUNCH_ON_EXIT entries, checkboxes will now be 'unchecked'.

I've also re-written mondragons 1 x DVD5 conversion so the progress bar works correctly during install, will have to test this later today and then upload it!

Conflict: Denied Ops 1 x DVD5 (1 Language) Remix :)

Converted under WinXP with SP2!!

1. Copy contents of DVD to a temp folder. NOTE: If using Vista, you may have to change the attributes of the folder to remove the READ-ONLY bit from the temp folder an all sub-directories!

2. Download this rar:
and extract it into the temp folder. Overwrite the 'Conflict Denied Ops.msi' file when prompted! This modified MSI also unchecks the 'Install GameShadow' and 'Launch Conflict Denied Ops' options!

3. Decide which language movies you want to keep and run the appropriate BAT file in the temp folder, e.g. to keep English movies run 'English.bat', to keep French movies run 'French.bat' etc!!

4. Run 'convert.bat' in the temp folder and WAIT a few HOURS (depending on CPU speed) for the files to be compressed! The command window will disappear when conversion completes and you should see files named 'data1.cab', 'data2.cab', 'data3.cab' and 'data4.cab'. As a guide it took 1hr 50mins to create all 4 cabs using a 2.8GHz AMD CPU!

5. After the command window disappears run 'cleanup.bat' in the temp folder to delete all un-needed files (including the files you have now compressed into CAB files).

6. If you want the crack to be installed with the game then copy it to the 'program files\Eidos\Conflict Denied Ops' folder, rename or backup the existing 'ConflictDeniedOps.exe' file.

7. Burn to a re-writable DVD and test the install, you don't need a Volume Label!!

8. If All OK and movies play in your language then burn to a DVD+/-R!

Credits to mondragon for sorting how to compress files into CABS! :)

Note: The games language select requester is contained in 'Setup.exe' so it's not possible to make an installer that defaults to your language, unless there is a way to decompile/recompile IS14 setup EXE's!
