Pure [MULTI3] No-DVD/Fixed Image "does" work in Vista for me.
 

Just wanted to let the powers that be know .. regarding the note that this does not work on Vista.

I am running Vista Ultimate 32 bit here.
and the Pure [MULTI3] No-DVD/Fixed Image works fine.

The Note says : This Fixed Image currently does not work under Vista using DAEMON Tools v.4.30.1!

I am using
DAEMON Tools v4.30.1 Lite
All Emulation options ON
2 Virtual drives and both images in the archive mounted.
and Y.A.S.U v1.3 running.
Double click the Pure.exe and away it goes :)

This mini image works fine with this combination in Vista 32 bit for me.

The game load times are sooooooo slow !!!

Emulations aren't needed for mounted image.

... that is, emulation options. (@PanterACFH: That's covered by the PC Games forum FAQ, by the way... time to read it! ;) )

Ok, fair enough about the emulation point.

My main point was, that the note regarding this patch not working with DAEMON Tools v.4.30.1 in Vista, is false.

The mini-image's, DAEMON Tools v4.30.1 and Y.A.S.U v1.3 DO WORK in Vista for me.

I wasn't really after a lesson on emulation options, I was just merely stating how my options were set.

I seem to be having some trouble getting this to work (in XP no less!) could someone please explain the proper procedure to get PURE working with these two image files! I have never had to mount two images before, I mounted them to both vDrives in daemon tools with YASU 1.03 running but NOTHING! When I try to start PURE the working icon comes on for about 5 serconds and the NOTHING!!! PLEASE HELP!
