Problem with Spider-Man 3!
After I installed Spider-Man 3, I noticed I could not save my progress, not even a folder destined to savegames was created. I tried both patches available in this site. Is there a way to have my progress saved?

Try with your original disc.

Im gonna take a stab that you have Vista.
If so, goto Start > Control Panel > User Accounts > Your account listed (i.e. your name you use) > turn off UAC. |

Nops,. I have XP. Is there a way to deal with this issue in XP the same way you do in Vista? |
no its a Vista only feature.
If it does the same with your original not using crack, then it could be a hardware conflict with the game and drivers installed. |
go to control panel and turn off all user account.. and reinstall the spiderman ..to take effect..

erm silvister - its been stated that the person isn't using vista.. try reading a bit closer next time....
