Crysis 64

I installed Crysis and I tried to use the Crysis v1.0 [MULTI5] Windows x64 Fixed EXE #1 and 2. I can play Crysis on 32 but when I try to play it on 64 it says Failed to Load the Game DLL! How can I fix this to i can play Crysis on 64? I reinstalled twice already. Im using Window XP x64.

Does it work without a crack? Isn't the 64-bit EXE unprotected (I once read that on this forum)?

TippeX 06-02-2008 06:23

yup, 64 bit exe is unprotected afaik

Joe Forster/STA 06-02-2008 06:33

Then what the hell are the 64-bit no-DVD patches for?! :)

TippeX 06-02-2008 07:28

good question, maybe it still has a cd check, but as far as i remember there is no 'real' protection

abcgum1 06-02-2008 15:02

When I click on Crysis64.exe it starts up, the whole screen goes blank and it crashes. If i click the Crysis.exe itll just say enter CD. If it do the same thing with the crack itll just crash.

Well, then it obviously has nothing to do with the (64-bit) crack. Read the PC Games forum FAQ on some general gaming solutions.

If you have Nvidia nforce networking controller, uninstall it as there is a conflict with the program and the 64bit version of the game. I had the same problem till I uninstalled it now it works fine

TippeX 05-08-2008 03:24

somehow i seriously doubt that there's any truth in what childsy 1985 is saying...

Joe Forster/STA 05-08-2008 07:30

Not necessarily. I had very weird problems (complete file system lockups) with NOD32 a few years ago and, when their user support couldn't help, I started experimenting and, as far as I remember, it was the IDE driver that was causing the problems.
