Hellgate 0.6
 

gamecopyworld has a fixed crack for hellgate version 0.6, but it just won't work for me.
it works without patching but after i patch it shows a small image of a guardian and then it goes into a black screen.


anyone was able to actually play the game patched? help would be appreciated.

Try with original exe and your original disk and tell us if the same is happening

the game works, i guess its the crack not working :/

I don't like games that do online updates and not have standalone offline patches. Second I prefer cracked games. I don't want to buy Daemon Tools Pro Advanced just to be able to play with a mini image.

That's why I bought PES 2008 and FIFA 2008. I like PES 2008 better. I know they are different genre games.

I became a Virus-Alert, wenn I will extract the file "Hellgate_ London Patch 0.6 SP [MULTI8] Fixed EXE.7z"!?!

My Antivir found the virus "TR/Drop.Age.92160.B"!?!

Have anyone else this problem?!

Yes,same here,antivir alerts with the same description.

False Postive!

Which AV you use? It's probably picking up PECompact as a Virus when it's just a file packer used to compress the file.

No Virus found with AVG Pro 7.5, I compared the cracks from GCW with the ones I obtained elswhere and they are identical so none of the files have beem tampered with.

Used AV 7.06 ,so it might be that problem,but i checked some other sides,found same files,other name/compression ,no problem,so it probably IS the AV-Version,which caused the alert.

Vitality's FixedEXE for 0.6 also doesn't work for me. Game will not start. No problems running without FixedEXE.

Vista problem?

Crack worked for me on WinXP SP2, never tried Vista.

I've no problem of installation or entering the HGL. I can do any quest and kill any monster. BUT my only serious problem is my character's transparency. I mean I can't see the suite/body(can see only sword and shield) and even can't see the enemy!! it's all vanished only their shadow seen on ground. i've tried many configurations and patches , update directx but it didn't help. Anyone please.

upgrade your video drivers? or if you're using the latest, try downgrading?
video card overclocked? ram overclocked? if the answer to the last 2 is yes, dont overclock and try again...

@rasja: Do you use any cracks or your original disc?
