Need for Speed Carbon - DVD problem
 

Hi
Yesterday I bought NFS Carbon but it wont open from the disk,
so I can't install. I've even put it in a Mac and their it can see the
disk so i'ts not the disk, altought there was already a scratch on it
when I opend the box.
I have a Samsund DVD-ROM SD-612S dvdstation and already checked for
updates, as described in the manual as one of the problems.

Can someone help me on this one ?

Try copying all the files off the DVD manually; do you get a read error message?

Nothing just happens.
I insert the CD, see the light go on that it's reading, get
a litte cd next to my mouse, I wait, try to open it myself
but it says that there isn't a cd inserted

Do other CD/DVD discs read OK in your drive? If so then go back to the store and get a replacement, it seems to be a faulty disc!

If you have another dvd-drive in your pc, then try this.
I have the same problem with some disc sometimes with my external dvd-writer by LG.

Exactly, and if the shop is fair, they gonna give u another copy, but u gonna keep ur original key u already have, I did it with STALKER, the dvd began to crack from the inside (the plastic inner ring) and even after 4 months, I still could return it and get a new copy, but I kept my original serial
