Call of Duty 4 v1.2 patch

hi i have the 1.2 update but cant install it it keeps saying setup could not locate valid installation

is there any way arround this

well how did u install it? perhaps the patch you grabbed isn't for your language?

Could be he has the cracked exe while running the patch and it noticed it.
