Hellgate: London

the link to the mini-image from Bender doesn't work!
the filename is missing at every mirror (example: "...gamecopyworld.com/?d=2007%f=")

armacham 03-11-2007 01:52

The vitality fixed exe on GCW worked great for me, but the game kept crashing once I got to a certain outdoor area, about 2-3 hours into the game, whether using fixed exe or dvd. I read on different forums that the game has its fair share of bugs and crashing, so I downloaded the patch in hopes that the mini image would work.

The netshow mini image is wierd, it shows a 7 gig mdf file and wont extract all the way, so I tried the Bender german mini image with YASU 1.4 and DT 4.1. No luck, "emulation conflict."

I never did try the mini image with the unpatched game since I MUCH prefer fixed exe, so I'm going to reinstall and go that route to see if I can get it to work at all. I dont expect it will, unless I'm doing it all wrong or Flagship added some more copy protection with the patch that can thwart the latest YASU.

Anyone get the mini image to work with the patch?

SageFrancis 03-11-2007 07:36

No luck

I'm trying as well, but no luck so far. I tried # Hellgate: London [GERMAN] No-DVD/Fixed Image and Hellgate: London [MULTI8] No-DVD/Fixed Image on DT 4.06 and YASU 3.1. I can't load any of those images :(

TippeX 03-11-2007 08:18

hmm, can't load = you get an 'emulation detected' message, or a crash.. or what?
more info helps

SageFrancis 03-11-2007 08:43

.

"emulation conflict".

TippeX 03-11-2007 09:20

use your original for now then, or the virtual ide in daemon tools pro advanced
until a crack appears....

SageFrancis 03-11-2007 09:31

I guess Ill wait for some working mini image.

TippeX 03-11-2007 10:03

er,. you're missing the point
the bender image etc apparently is ok when used on the daemon tool virtual ide drive...
but not on the 'normal' scsi one, so its not a mini image issue....

reference : http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/show...light=hellgate

other people claim downgrading your daemon tools to 4.06 (i really cant see the point in this though) also works....

Tried both vIDE and vSCSI, with and without YASU. Always conflict with disc emulator.

Using DT 4.06 & YASU the game runs, so the image is good.

I found way how play patched Hellgate: London:
1) In folder C:\Hellgate London\Data\ found files "sp_hellgate_localized000.idx" and "sp_hellgate000.idx".
2) Files "sp_hellgate000.idx" and "sp_hellgate_localized000.idx" rename or copy to other folder. (Files mustn't be in Hellgate London\Data folder)
3) Copy crack from old version to folder C:\Hellgate London\SP_x86.
4) Enjoy!

SageFrancis 03-11-2007 11:12

works

It works for me as well, all I did is:

Mounted # Hellgate: London [MULTI8] No-DVD/Fixed in DT 4.06 HE + YASU v1.4.

Think it had something to do with the ammount of virtual drives I had :P

Thankyou, vIDe or vSCSI in DT4.1 pro, YASU or no, mine was not working.

BUT (as illogical as it sounds) downgrading to DT4.06 and using YASU worked fine, maybe YASU doesnt cloak your drives quite right when using DT4.1 or something.

I'm using Benders German mini image, I cant get the Netshow multi8 image to extract all the way.

hgl release a patch 0 , and the crack by vitality and fairlight does not work anymore , any solution?

Stat 03-11-2007 19:56

Hi, after updating HGL with patch 0, I have tried the following:

YASU 1.4 + DTPro Advanced (IDE mode, all emulation options on) + netshow mini image
= Conflict with emulation detected

YASU 1.4 + DTPro Advanced (IDE mode, all emulation options off) + netshow mini image
= Conflict with emulation detected

YASU 1.4 + DTPro Advanced (SCSI mode, all emulation options on) + netshow mini image
= Conflict with emulation detected

YASU 1.4 + DTPro Advanced (SCSI mode, all emulation options off) + netshow mini image
= Conflict with emulation detected

YASU 1.4 + DTPro Advanced (IDE mode, all emulation options on) + bender mini image
= Conflict with emulation detected

YASU 1.4 + DTPro Advanced (IDE mode, all emulation options off) + bender mini image
= Conflict with emulation detected

YASU 1.4 + DTPro Advanced (SCSI mode, all emulation options on) + bender mini image
= Conflict with emulation detected

YASU 1.4 + DTPro Advanced (SCSI mode, all emulation options off) + bender mini image
= Conflict with emulation detected

No YASU + DTPro Advanced in either mode, with or without emulation + either image
= Wrong disc inserted.

In short, I think I've tried every possible combination of YASU 1.4 & DTPro Adv 4.10.0218 pairings, in IDE and SCSI modes, with and without emulation, and with all mini images currently available, and the end result for me is that HGL with the patch 0 update won't pass the security checks regardless of settings.

Hope this helps.
