Looking for the The Regiment v1.01 crack, only v1.00 is available, appreciate the effort.

This can be done, by comparing the two protected EXEs in HexCmp, then applying the changes to 1.00 fixed EXE. I wonder if I have time to try.

I think WaltonSimons only expressed himself improperly...

With simple copy protections - that only need a few bytes to be changed for a no-CD patch -, the following can be done:
1. Compare the original EXE of version X with the unprotected EXE of version X and make notes of where (code around) and what (in concept, not actual bytes) the differences are.
2. Find the same code fragments on the original EXE of version Y (Y > X) and apply the same changes there.
And, yes, it works most of the time.

The patch only updates the exe, it also updates the securom from v7.00.00.0005 to v7.00.00.0012

wrong version numbers
try scanning with something decent like pid
and not something outdated like a-ray..

7.0.0.05 and 7.0.0.12 do NOT exist
the last digit portion is not the sub version...
