Biohazard 4 game.exe D:
 

I've loved RE4 for years now, ever since Resident Evil 0. Recently, I bought Biohazard 4 AKA RE4 for the computere. When I installed the game, it went smoothly. When I tried to play it... Disasters :(

Can someone tell me what's wrong? Better yet, HOW THE HELL DO I FIX IT? :mad:

I.e. what problems are you having, and this section is for game backups/no-cd's.

There is also a FAQ about common problems with games etc. Also ask the developers/publishers for solutions.

The game is known to be of poor visual quality thanks to Capcom trusting a lame company to do the port (from PS2, not Game Cube) to PC. Rumor is that a patch adding some lighting and shadow effects may be released this summer, but there's no guarantee given the level of quality we've seen thus far.

Basically everytime I start up the program I get the setup page the one with Leon holding a machine gun so it looks, and Ada holding a shotgun. [Image shown below] Then, when I press Play the game lags for about 10 seconds then brings me to a 'send error report' page.

Do I have a pretty desktop? <3 :)

Are you using a crack or mini-image?
If YES, please try out and tell us if the game is working when you use your original disc without crack/mini-image.

If the game isn't working with your original disc (without crack/mini-image) then we can't help you. Please contact the developer of the game (Capcom?).

You see... I WOULD read those forums, and I have, but, my CD is a chinese installation but english game. There was no serial code.

I suggest seeking support from the publisher of the game as this is not a backup related problem!

No offence but RE4 is one of the wost PC portages I have ever seen

And the new gameplay sucks looks more like an FPS than a Survival Horror game
