Please help - RecordNow 4.6 & px.dll error
Does anyone have (or know where I can get) RecordNow 4.5 or 4.6 ?? The disk that came with my LiteOn DVDRW seems to install but every time I try to use it I get the following error:
... program has performed an illegal operation & will be shut down. MYCDPRO caused an invalid page fault in module PX.DLL at 01d7:01dccfb9. Or - suggestions for software that will burn a DVD data disk (not make an image of & then burn a data disk) ?? Win98SE P3 1GHz 384MB RAM LiteOn DVDRW 851S & LTR 52246S |
Sent you an email with a px engine upgrade. Might do the trick.

bighap - Thank you for the response. I don't see it in my mailbox. There is a link back to this thread ...
Are you referring to the 507 engine upgrade ?? I haven't tried any engine upgrades yet - I'm hoping to find the prog or dll somewhere. It was working just fine before & I haven't changed anything except the mobo & processor. And I had a successful burn to DVD +RW after the change. |
Download the px.dll file from here. ;)

Thank you for the link Grumpy. That dll is v1.06.14h. I've tried it to no effect.

Yes, I sent you the 507 engine upgrade. Just sent it again to your registered email address. Give it a try. It has been known to fix most px errors. |
