the movie i was trying to play is called PIRATES....it wasn't a pirated movie....i was simply trying to tell everyone not to be surprised if they get the hd dvd add on and it doesnt play all hd dvd movies!

hehe pirates.. haha they made a softcore version of this movie "pirates". they even rent it at blockbuster video. in reality the original version is an all out hardchore porn. when I saw on the shelf at blockbuster i had to do a double take. then i realized someone felt it was worthy enough to water down and rent out hahahahaha.

this was the good version....in hd dvd....that is not playable with the 360 hd dvd drive

haha sorry. You made that post a day after the HD-DVD movie protection was bypassed and the video of it was spread all over online. I thought you meant that you downloaded the pirate's HD-DVD movie and it didn't play. I didn't know you were talking about a porno. I am going to post on MS's site about that movie lol.

Anyways, if it doesn't play then that kind of sucks, but just make sure that the parental control allows all movies of any rating (doubt that this is the case).

it gave a message that it couldnt recognize the disc and if it was a game disc blah blah blah

xbox forum said that some of the older 2005 / early 2006 movies do not play on the xbox HD drive.
