Call of Duty 2 for mac help?
 

I know this is a PC games forum but I was hoping that someone might be able to point me in the right direction for copying or no-cd cracking the Mac OS X version of the game. I was going to see if I could copy the disc on my XP machine but I can't tell what kind of protection it has, not knowing which program to identify it with. Any help would be appreciated.

I've acutually been doing quite a bit of fishing up of Mac cracks recently :p
While AFAIK there is currently not one for CoD 2, I have yet to come across a Mac game that cannot be played in this way:
1. Use the disk image facility in OSX to create a dmg of the game disk.
2. Mount this & attempt to start the game. Some will start in this way, others will not.
3. Mount the disk image using Toast 7 Titanium- This has the effect of making the dmg seem to be a 'proper' CD drive, and should make just about anything else work.

Mostly this works as copy protection in Macs has not got to anywhere near the level seen with Windows yet.
