And ofcourse make the v1.64 Update and use the GCW's file(s) to work
without your Original Media... I played so much without any problems with
the Cr@ck-IT Nocd/LAN fixedexe.

The original version of Painkiller had Safedisk protection on it but was removed on the patches and replaced with a simple cd check. But I have had heard some special edition of Painkiller that was protected by Starforce. Couldn't your version be the one protected by Sf since you said is the Black Ed? Note that I'm not sure I only wondering

There was really unnecessary that the original game Safedisc or StarForce
protected IF you installs the v1.64 Update, what was unprotected and
has ONLY CD-checks (See Cossacks2 Napoleonic Wars v1.0/v1.2: the Boxed
game has StarForce 3.x and the v1.2 Update was NotProtected). So you do
not need to your Original Media anymore to play the game.

So what you will say if you have the 1.64 version already and no 1.64 cracks all over the web worked including (megagames, gamecopyworld...etc)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not ready to throw my original scratched CD and i will try to use any kind of chemicals available to fix it.:(:(:(:(:(:(

Any suggestions.

Bye

If your CD/DVD is damaged, contact the publisher for a replacement.

Painkiller

I am the one who scratch the CD by mistake, still i can get a replacement even i will be categorized as "Misuser" and not a factory mistake?
Bye

You won't get a replacement for free (gratis) but it still will be cheaper than buying another copy.

Generic crack by Barry is enough (although for example in Poland there is no need to use it as here Painkiller BE is already totally unprotected.
