Game Name (PSX)
 

I remember there was a guy with axe or some kind of hammer . . .
One of attack is a throw of some pack
Guy have some wave and gun . . . when you find something you can upgrade weapon . . .player can buy items in towns . . . flying robots, boss'es and unblockking characters (4th guy was so small . . .)
