Titan Quest and SecuRom Issues
 

Ok, hi guys, I am somewhat new to the scene so forgive me if this is a stupid question. I just got titan quest, and I am having problems getting it to run. I have tried mounting with DT 4.0.3 with SecurRom on and also with SecurRom Hider and SR loader.. SR loader works better than the SR hider, When i use hider it says that a required security measure is not being met, but when i use SR loader it passes security, but tells me to insert the real disc instead of a backup, what step am I missing here to get this to work?

What should I do?

Since securom crashes all the time i will post the solution again
has worked for me no crashes at all
Burned like it said in nfo with newest alcohol.
I just put it in win2k compatability mode. Selected all options to on on dtools.
Also uninstalled alcohol. And set devices to 0 on daemon tools.
It has worked for me with no crashes at all

Bryan9129, you're in Arizona and the game wont be released in the US until June 26th, so how did you get your copy?

I am Ugf, i just bought a new DVD burner to try your method, when i go into ALC 120 the RMDF option is greyed out? what determines whether or not that is available?

I got the game from my friend he is in the industry. Secondly the edit button wouldnt work, perhaps you could assist me with my issue instead of assailing me with the same question over and over lol..

So, you want to make yourself a copy of the game that your friend has borrowed you. of course, why would you ever destroy that backup, even though leaving it be is illegal? Warez monkey.

Not just closing, a ban too. But don't be fooled by the date alone - in Poland, I received HoMM V CE a week or so before it hit the stores. I simply pre-ordered and I received a written warranty, that the game WILL be delivered a week before it hits the stores. CDProjekt have kept their word. No, it's other symptoms that prove clearly, that we're dealing with a warez monkey here.

- he tries to burn this damn DVD like crazy (not that it is possible, there aren't DVD-burners available that support RAW mode recording)
- he admits that his friend lent him the disc.

If he borrowed the disc, he'll have to give it back. So, why burn a backup you'll have to destroy? What's all the fuss about? No, he's definitely a warez monkey. Keep this guy off the forums, please. Joe? Rincewind? Anyone...?

Why do i have to give my copy of the game back to my friend? He as well as the other gentleman in the forum have burned backups, i just cant get mine to work for some reason and its really irritating, why are you so bitter and angry?
