LOTR BfmE II Problem
 

Hi,

I installed BfmE II and used the 1.01 patch with the new game.dat. But when I start a game and after it hits the 100% loading it crashes back to windows with a game.dat error.

Can anyone tell me how I can fix this, been trying for weeks now :(

Is it working with your original cd/dvd ???

No, same problem.

Then that's an issue you'll have to take up with EA Support, I'm afraid.

I remember there's a thread somewhere on this forum (The "General Gaming" forum, perhaps?) that explains how to delete game.dat, to have it re-created after applying the official update. Search for it.
