nope as you can see the Geforce 4 series is not included.

Luciel 11-02-2006 16:46

Even though it would work on my pc, seriously some requirements are getting stupidly high these days.

kosmiq 11-02-2006 17:17

Actually I don't think those are "stupidly high". Looking at the PC's people have today those are no higher than most games reqs when released compared to the PC's of that age.

Luciel 12-02-2006 08:46

Sorry but i dont agree, i find it hard to believe that most people would have a pc capable of running this decently (which tends to be the recommended and then some not the min reqs).

kosmiq 12-02-2006 11:45

Recommended:
3 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent processor - check
1 GB System RAM - check
ATI X800 series, Nvidia GeForce 6800 series, or higher video card -check

don't think I will have any problem with my A64 3700+ overclocked to 2.6GHz ATM, 2gb RAM (2-3-3-6 1T timings) and 7800GT... If it is required I'll just get another 7800GT and run SLI...

Luciel 12-02-2006 19:29

kosmiq, my point is not wether YOU or i can play this nicely, my point is that a bast majority will not have even the min reqs for this game, so it will provably be a commercial failure.

kosmiq 13-02-2006 02:36

Well my point(s) are:
1. I will run this game sweet
2. 95% of the people I know have PC's with specs above the minimum req's.
only a few people have specs below and they are planning to upgrade anyway because they know their pc's are too slow for most upcoming games anyway.

Luciel 13-02-2006 07:29

then 95% of the people you know are people that understand about upgrading, hardware and pcs in general, but 95% of people that own a pc and play some games, dont. Therefore i rest my case.

hmmm ok agreed. I have to give you that one. But I can only speak from my own experiences in the matter.

While you're at it, why not get 2gb RAM? Really helps IMO.
