backup PS2 DVD games "with net play"?
 

I can't seem to find a step by step guide to backup PS2 DVD games "with net play"?

Is there one available?

If I back them up with DVD Decrypter in ISO read/write mode without doing anything esle, will they still play but without "net play"?

If I'm not mistaken, NO game will work online from a backup (you even have to switch the modchip off)!

yes you can play backups online but you will need to get the disc id and then patch it to your image then burn !
some mods do need to be turned off to play online though which will defeat the object of backing up to play it online ! what mod do you have ??? some 1 else should be able to tell you if you need to turn it off,,, some mods dont need to be !

Crystal 1.1 chips do all the DNAS coding on-the-fly so you dont even have to patch the backups!

So does thta mean if I have the Crystal 1.1 chip I can just back the discs up via DVD Decrypter ISO read/write like I would other non net play PS2 games?
