My New Computer
 

Decided to post in the offtopic forum for once, about my shiny new (expensive) computer :D .

Specs:
Mobo:
Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe

Processor and HS:
Opty 175 w/SI-120 HS

RAM:
OCZ Plat. 2gb kit EB DDR500

Video Cards:
2x7800GT's in SLI (<-OMFG!!! :cool: )

Sound Card:
X-fi Plat.

PSU:
Seasonic S12 600W

Case:
TT Kandalf Case

Monitor:
Viewsonic VP930b

And assorted other stuff, like keyboard mouse and hardrives, but thats my core components. My old Athon XP 2500+ and 9800pro (flashed to XT), posibly a great combo at the time, just isn't cutting it (for me) any more. FEAR destroys my video card, and I don't even want to know what the unreal 3 engine will do.

I know it's expensive, but I've been saving :D for it, for a while now. I can't wait till I build it. I'm waiting on the mobo and thats about it. I can't post pics cause I didn't build it yet, nor have all the parts. Maby then I'll bring this (probably) dead thread back to life.

P.S. I'm too lazy to post links, but I gather you can figure what all the stuff it.

Very impressive indeed bro. I started to put my PC together in July when I started with jack squat and as of christmas morning here's what I ended up with:

P4 3.2 gig W/Hyper thread
Asus PGD51 motherboard W/open PCI-E
Asus 52X CDRom
HP 640B DL Lightscibe burner (surprisingly good 2 sheeper!)
200 gig WD internal HD
250 gig Maxtor external HD
HP PSC 1610 all in one
MSI Geforce 6600GT 128mb PCI-E
17" New CRT monitor
50 watt 2.1 speaker set(in PC room)

Then in my living room santa was by here the other day and he dropped of a 32" LCD TV 8ms response time to go with the 480 watt logitech 5.1 surround sound in my living room. I have the LCD hooked up with DVI to 15 pin VGA and let me tell you when I first hooked it up like this my jaw was on the floor!

It's finally Built :D

Runs every game MAX settings with AA/AF and TRAA.
