1) Copy all the contents of CD1 into a directory.

2) Copy every file from CD2 but 00000000.016, 00000000.256, 00000001.TMP, 00000002.TMP, autorun.inf and NFSU_icon.ico to the same directory you've copied CD1.

3) Extract both compressed.zip to a new folder. Create new archive from the files you have extracted from the compressed.zip's from both the CDs and name it compressed.zip.

4) Open common_filelist.txt and have every line start with a 1, so change every 2 to a 1. Delete the last two entries "2,1,00000000.016" and "2,1,00000000.256".

edit:
5) Download the No-CD Crack and replace it with the executable file from your DVD.

1) Copy all files from CD1 into a directory. Unpack compressed.zip to a different directory. Remove compressed.zip. Copy all files from CD2 into the same directory without overwriting any files. Make sure you have removed compressed.zip from the directory first!!. Unpack compressed.zip (from CD2) into the same directory as where you unpacked compressed.zip from CD1. Remove compressed.zip

2) Use winzip or winrar to zip all the files you have just unzipped into a new archive. Name it compressed.zip and move it to the NFSUG2 directory.

3) Open up common_filelist.txt and change every 2 at the start of every line to a 1.

If you wish to use a crack do the following, if not skip to 5

4) Overwrite speed.exe with a cracked exe. Go to 6

5) Open autorun.cfg in the AutoRun folder, scroll to the bottom and change StartupCD=02 to StartupCD=01.

6) Burn the files to a DVD-R or create an image and name it anything you'd like.

Ps: Nothing wrong with Gorerott3d's tutorial just the fact he has removed files which don't need to be removed.

Protection ID says NFSU2's prtected by safe disc version four, alcohol 120% can emulate it, but can't burn it why's this? I was trying to make a backup disc to use on my second computer but the the disc kept failing, though it works perfectly fine when i use the image for an emulation.
