Backup WITH crack
 

ok... i bought F.E.A.R. a fewdays ago, and now i tried to back up it, and its working and stuff, but i want to burn it too (that's allowed right ?) but the backup doesnt include a crack. But, i dont want do to waste another cd/dvd only for the crack and the patch!

how do i make a backup where a crack is included is it just like this?:

((and i got DVD version.. does that make a difference ? it is a 1 data track right ?))

CD-Copy Instructions (1 DATA Track):

* Create the following temporary directory:
o TempDir : C:\TEMP\CD ( should it be DVD??)
* Copy the full contents of the original CD to TempDir.
* Replace the original main executable with the Fixed Executable or No-CD Executable.
* Burn the contents of TempDir to a CD-R and use the same CD-Label as the original CD.
* Remove/Clear the TempDir.
* Play the game!


with the fat text: make a map (e.g. Crack) in the same folder and burn it with it ?

Heh a backup is pretty useless unless you really makes it a backup by burning it right? :P

However there are some people that think we are not allowed to make personal backups and so on.... :mad:

No matter... You're right when thinking "create a folder named crack..."..
Simply copy the entire disc to a folder, create a folder named crack and put in the fixed .exe from GCW. Burn to a DVD-r with the same label as the original. Put your original somewhere safe.
