Brothers in arms - earned in blood problem with MDS/MDF image
Hello all.
I am trying to create a backup of my first CD for the game Brothers in arms - earned in blood. I have the MDF/MDS image. I am using Alcohol 1.9.5.3105 When I try to mount the file it gives me an error of: "File not accessible". My friend (who made the image for me and now is abroad) I think he made a mistake on the connection between the MDS/MDF file. Unlike a *.cue file, the MDS is full of gibberish and I cannot see where the mistake is, Im sure it has something to do with the names of the files... Please direct me how to find a suitable program that can help me fix this issue, meaning, a program that can edit MDS/MDF... This are my CD's and I urgently need to make a copy of the originals for safe keeping. Thanks and regards, Sandlegion |
There's no connection between MDF and MFS files - other than their name -, unlike with BIN and CUE files. If you think the images are made correctly, 1) read the Alcohol 120% docs on this error message or 2) ask the authors of Alcohol 120% either directly or via its support forum. (If you're using the command line feature of Alcohol 120% to mount images, beware, you have to supply the full path of the image file, not only its name!)
