Gran Turismo 4: Is it possible yet?
 

Is it now possible to back up a copy of GT4 with DVD+r DL ?

Do I need to patch it first?

If I DO need to patch it first where can I download the patch?
I try to use "ToXiC Dual-Layer Image Patcher" but keep getting the message "Failed to open file" Am I missing anything?


Are there any patch out there that allow me to back up GT4 on regular DVD-R?

Which way is better?

PS. Should we have a speacial sticky just for backing up DVD9 games?

yeah you can back up GT4 on DVD+r DL but you should patch it first.
also you can rip it to dvd5, so you can burn it on DVD-R. for rip kit goto http://www.backuptools.co.uk/
I think run the game with dvd-r put less stress on your laser.

I play it with hdloader and never tried the above methods.

ok goto ps2hd.com and look for "GranTurismo 4 DVD5 Kit " to rip it to dvd5 or look for "ToXiC Dual-Layer Image Patcher" to back it up on DVD+r DL. :)
