Apps won't load modded
 

I've been putting off getting my modded xbox running for a while now, I think I can sufficiently explain my problem now though, hopefully someone can help.

I have a 1.6 with an Xecuter 2.6 LITE CE. I installed M8 as a bios, and have tried both evox and avalaunch for dashboards. Dashboards seem to load fine, but no programs will load, either from the dashboard, or by installing them as dashboards (ie XBMC). A couple of games will load by booting off them, but most won't, even ones that work on other modded xboxes. Also, no games will load from the dashboard.

Any suggestions? problems with the bios I'm using. Please feel free to message me with suggestions.

Try clearing the cache, start the games with the original DVD, change to EvoX M8+ bios (if you are using the standard M8), do a reformat of the drive and reinstall everything from scratch... All I can think of at the moment... :P

sounds like you have flashed the hacked bios to bank 1 and not bank 2
1.6 xboxes act really weird when a hacked bios is put on bank 1 of the xecuter 2.6 chip

I'll try reflashing to bank 2, and I'll try finding M8+, I do believe I tried both banks before, but I'm not entirely sure.

Wow guys, I can't believe it was that easy, it's taken me so long to get this going...

I loaded up M8plus_16 onto my second bank, flashbios onto my first, everything seems to be running great now. XBMC runs, games I copied onto my hard drive run. I'm just friggin estatic right now.
