FileForums - GTA: San Andreas Save File Problem

well guys here the thing:

I got my game from the HOODLUM release, I used the crack that came with that release, and my game worked fine until today... i open up, or better said i try to open up the game but the game just wouldn't start, it didn't even give me sign that it was going to start or something it just did'nt do a thing...

so i came to gamecopyworld to look for a new patch or something and i see this patch that say GTA: San Andreas SAVEGAME DIR PATCH i download it and apply it and now my game does start but my saved games weren't there anymore... so i copy them from the user file dir that creates itself in the my document dir, but they don't get read by the game, and i started a new game to see how it would work out and when i try to save it says that's there's an error with the saving dir....

so long story short, i cannot use my old save game files and i cannot start a new game since it doesn't let me save a new game..

so if anyone knows what i can do to get my old files up and running please tell me how to do so, thanks
