Splinter Cell 3 - Chaos Theroy (This Works!)

You need to open up star****v0.83beta (GERMAN VERSION)
and then select StarForce 3.4.63.2 then click on CD8 DEAKTIVIEREN
Then click on EINSTELUNGEN CDRoms befinden sich:then select Am sekundaren Kanal Patch Type der Kanale:Super Agresiv
Ordner Daemon tools select where you instaled the exe. file of the game(exa. c:/program files/splintercell chaos theory/)
And then click on ANVENDEN.(make sure that you have the proper install key)
now disable cd,node etc. with starforce nightmare.
mount up full image of the game in damon tools (not Mini image). play the game. Injoy!
That shoud work.
Let me Know if it works for you!

I hope this will be the final end of Starf***.

chaosmaster 22-05-2005 13:24

If you can't wait anymore, why don't you use your original disk?

:p

@VH14a
I use this method to play Medieval Lords & SRS, and you still need original cd to install or not gonna work. But i think this method not work with Chaos Theory, because if the solution that simple, there won't be so many thread about this game. I don't have this game yet, so i cannot test it.

Definitly donīt work with this method! Your explanation of the StarfucI<options are on every Pc others! Not everyone has the drive on the secondary channel! And it is not a problem with deaktivation of the IDE drives. Starforce from SC3 blacklists the emulation on the virtual and IDE drives. Only the USB-method is working right now! I donīt believe that your game will work in that way!

Also I renamed the damon drive to usb 2.0 rev 3.0. Before you post why don't you try it? I am sucessfully running splintercell 3 from cd image and it only works if you do all of what I posted previously. with starforce nightmare you have to disable what ever ide channel (s) your rom(s) are on including node. no emulation needed.

Ok, so what exactly did you use for device settings then?

Vendor:
Model:
Revision:

VH14a 23-05-2005 16:50

vender usb 2.0
Model dvd rom
revision 3.0

wildwing 24-05-2005 00:44

where to change dev. settings?

VH14a 24-05-2005 03:19

right click damon tools,go to vitrual CD/DVD-ROM,next device 0 (because you should only have one virtual drive),set device parameters.

Which program and settings did you use to create the image?

Talus 24-05-2005 05:51

Following these instructions did not work. Nor do they make much sense if you follow it through logically ;) First, he has you deactivating the CD drives, and THEN has you change the settings in Starf***. Then you run SFNightmare (rather redundant).

rasnarfire 24-05-2005 10:32

Are you mean an Alcohol image or Blinwrite? Have you make a DPM and which settings! I tryied your method and it donīt work! Can you post a step for step explanation again!

Pyr0 24-05-2005 12:43
