Hello Fellas,

1st post here, so hello everyone.

Sacred Underworld is more than two weeks out now, and i wanted to ask kindly, if there's a crack to be awaited in the near future. Possibly for the German version and also for the new patch that is out. :) ok, a lot of questions, but maybe someone has done it allready.

Installation Notes

Both Daemon tools and Alcohol.120% are currently blacklisted by this game.So Uninstall both!
Make sure that your system is totally cleaned of this program overwise you will get
emulation software detected error!No doubt these blacklists will be removed in the next versions
of these virtual drives!

To Play mounted.

Download and install Gamejack 5 newest version at http://www.gamejack.org/

Create the Game Jack virtual drive and install game mounted from here.

Now you need to add the game to Gamejack game starter.Easiest way to do this
is to open Gamejack, goto detect copy protection,choose your install folder for the
game.(most likely C:\Program Files\Ascaron Entertainment\Sacred Underworld).Then click
start scanning.Once game is scanned there will be button at the bottom saying
"Add to gamestarter".Click it!
Make sure CD1 is mounted.
Then click gamestarter.Sacred will be listed.Right click its icon on this page and
click start.Game runs avoiding all blacklists!

I don't think you'll get banned, I cant see anything illegal about your solution. the only thing that I don't like about it is that gamejack isn't available for free, while DT is... Not shure if it works with the demo (plus, I don't want the only emu software on my system to be a demo).

There are plenty no-CD patches and mini images on GCW for Sacred. You should try them all, one or more of them may work. ;)

It's not about SACRED but about SACRED UNDERWORLD, which is the official expansion. And to play SACRED UNDERWORLD (UW), we need a Sacred UW crack OR play with the Sacred UW CD. :D

I didn't say it was Perfect but it works.... i have tried it you can always buy Gamejack 5 its seems a good app

but hey it will hold poeple over till somthing better comes out

BTW Joe its a RPG game like Diablo II almost as cool too.....

okay i bought Gamejack 5 and i will try out this solution as soon as possible.
but: to play the game without the cd isn´t correct. i have to mount the ISO.
Now my question: can i create a small ISO? because on cd is about 700MB. it´s not that much, but it´s also not my interest tp keep such a huge file. thx for help.

To shorten a full ISO into a mini image, you might want to try ISODir, http://www.cdsteam.net/modules/mydow...cat.php?cid=23 . (I haven't used it yet, though...)

I tried the Gamejack thing, but unfortunately GJ seems to be blacklisted at least in Sacred UW 2.21 (I don't know which version the int'l retail is).

Something that DOES work however is this:

Make an image of CD1 using A120 and ProtectCD5 setting (I assume you all got a "physical" CD of the game ;) )
Burn to a CD
Put the CD in your drive, run A120 again.
Start to make an image of your burnt CD using "safedisc 2/3)
Immediately run Sacred UW. When you are in game, do ALT-TAB and cancel image creation.
I'm not shure, but maybe you have to disable virtual drives and emulation.

I know it sounds a little bit weird and is far from being as simple as a NOCD, but it works.

did you uninstall Daemon Tools and Alcohol 120% completely i know its a mass pain but GJ 5 isn't blacklisted the other two are... :(
i have Intl Version. it is 2.21 also i just checked and you need to remove the others totally

Yes, I uninstalled DAEMON and A120, and I can play the game with my original CD, but as soon as GJ is running I get an emulation error... maybe it's only blacklisted in german 2.21...

sounds like they read these things after all lol but wasn't German Version first.... why would the newer versions not be blacklisted ?
plus did you add a patch or was yours originally 2.21??? :confused:

The german retail is 2.14, 2.21 is the first patch, some days ago 2.22 came out...

there´s a tool, called anti-blaxx, it works like a stealth programm, all emulation software is hidden, works fine with securom protected games like Stronghold 2 (with mounted Image), and maybe it works for Sacred Underworld too...
I try it with an Image, no Error about Emulation Software appears, but the Game didnt find the CD-Rom, i think you need a burned copy to play ( i have no cd/dvd burner).

Can anyone try this, with a burned copy, and tell us if it works...???
