Lego Star Wars

Does anyone know if there is an image file for Lego Star Wars? Because the no-cd crack stuffs up the sound. So is there one released or is anybody making one? because its soooooooo much effort having to put in the disc and then take it out. So yeh if anyone knows please tell me.

The Hoodlum Nocd crack does stuff up the sound like you say but the Reloaded NoCD crack works fine! Download it here. ;)

Hello Guys,
hope sb. can help me!
Donīt need any patch or crack or something of that stuff - only good advice to solve my problem.
Bought Lego Star Wars last Monday and I`m very pissed off I can say...

Installed game correctly cause no error message appears while installation, but if I want to start the game a message with this txt appears on my screen:

"Failed to create d3d device. Application will now exit."

Looking into the Readme wasnīt very helpfull.
Checked out all Problems which where decribed in it...
I checked my Direct X (It is the Version from game), and my card drivers are new (I have a NVidia Geforce Ti 4400 and it supports Pixel Shader), run scandisk either but I canīt find the prob.

Hope you can help me.

That is strange, although better help from lucasarts site would be better than here.

But its not your GFX card thats the issue but perhaps (and im guessing) your onboard sound card. Check the manufacturers site for latest drivers, or motherboard site for the audio drivers.

Thnx al lot. I will try this.

I have not so much ideas about hardware,
but I thought a "d3d device" had something to do with the grafix card.
Why should it be the onbaord sound card???

Anyway thank you for the quick answer.

Edit: It works!!
Hi folks,
here some information to solve further probs with Lego Star Wars.
Met a guy, who is working for the publisher EIDOS and he gave me the hint, that the NVidia Geforce-Driver vers. 77.72 has some bugs that make the game doesnīt work/start.
Download the Driver vers. 77.77 from NVidia Homepage and all problems should be solved emediatly.

In my case it works!

So thanks to all who give me advice.

The Doctor
