i heard D/l writes wont even copy it cuase the 2nd layer on the disk is called PTP and only high $$ buners equment burns that style

TylerDurden 27-02-2005 19:18

Yup.

Actually the only way you can use it off the hdd is if you flatten the disc and put it on your hdd via your pc. Then you will need your original disc in the ps2 tray when loading the game via hdloader. Supposedly this only speed up certain menu loadings but most of the game is still loaded off the actual disc in the tray. Not exactly worth all the effort.

Oh well,

Just look after the original.

RSXSpeedDemon 03-03-2005 17:45

I have not tried it yet, but I just read on another website, that you can load GT4 into your HDD using HD Loader. You just have to enable Mode 2. Anyone confirm this?

TylerDurden 03-03-2005 17:49

BS!

Is it confirmed working by flatening the disc?

TylerDurden 03-03-2005 18:11

It only works (not even entirely) off the hdd if you have the ORIGINAL disc in the drive. Because it actually checks the drive and loads most of the content from the drive. Basically from what Ive read, its not really worth it because it barely faster.

i guess ill wait for the "super smart" people to make some hack to get it to work possibily!
