Ultima did it again... Colin McRae Rally 2005 - Crack
 

is there any posibility to use some files from "ultima" release and start the Collin mcrae 2005 game that i already have?
i just downloaded the full version of the game and i dont wanna take it again(ultima version).

please answer me people! :confused:

The release are gonna be nuked (again)! Homemade installer (again).

I guess Ultima unpack/decrypt the game data relating to starforce and thus need a homemade installer to install it. Either that or they may even just make a dump to DVD of the installed and cracked game and make an installer rather than release the full original game plus an extra load of extra cracked/decrypted data you have to manually install which may make the release even bigger!

Remember how Dead To Rights had to have an extra CD just for the crack! If Ultima had released it it would probably still be on 3 CD's not 4 :)

Nuked? Let's nuke the not-working things only, such as that crappy Lorddark crack that is still hosted on Gamecopyworld :mad:

yeah, this ultima stuff worked fine ... sometimes it gives some memory read error to me, but on rerun it fixes itself.

same starforce hack i have seen on xpand rally and medilords. now colin
so 3 games on a row.

they will never can do uncrackable exe's ;)
like never be protected cd's and dvd's.
what can be executed or readed, that can be reproduced.

Subsequently : if you want to make something that cannot be reproduced, you must make it unexecutable and/or unreadable. And that's exactly what happens ! Either the protection is cracked or... it doesn't work !

Well, yes ultima released a crack for the protection in Colin McRae 2005, too bad it crashes every time you try and access the "car settings". Kinda ruins a racing game. Oh well, someone will fix, or i'll try the polish version that is said to work %100. Too bad I only speak english. :)

Unfortunately it's true, but we still don't know if the "car setup" crash is due to the release or to the original "crappiness" by Codemasters...

Where can I find it?

I followed the directions in the release, but I still get a protection error anyway. I don't get it, and what a hoax that other no-cd was, hah. If anyone knows how I can get this working, that'd be cool.

Update or uninstall your Nero

If you have latest nero then uninstall it, use older one, 6.0 works i think

Also the game wont start if you use refreshrate locking/changing programs like refreshlock or refreshforce.
