The Fall: Last Days of Gaia - Starforce - Any hope?
 

so here it is... the fall last days of gaia is star force protected... i never had a star force game so is there any hope that i COULD be able to copy it?? thanks...

You can copy it but it wont play! It will install from the copy but thats all! Basically no its not worth copying!

the starforce version is 3.3.64 and does not need a starforce key anymore

btw: i wanted to purchase that game, too....but as it turns out the game is as buggy as hell. user with radeon 9700 cannot play the game at all, some users can't even install. and those who can play, have framerates like 10-20 fps (check the official forums).
man.....i'm very dissapointed. i guess i'll wait until the sorted out that probs or/and a demo comes out. if its worth cracking the protection of the game in which state it is in? *pffft* ;)

I also have a Radeon 9700 Pro, maybe ati will release an update soon that will allow us to play? Wishfull thinking maybe!

thats no ati-driver-prob at all! as it seems the beta-testing of "the fall" did not include tests on radeon 9700-cards. (silver-style hired an external company for that btw.)

as the support is very quick they said they will look into that immediately. no fix until the next week tho. hopefully they do find the prob. btw: the first patch came out 2 days before the official release...if thats not a good sign. :rolleyes:

so you mean this starforce version is not that hard like the DTM Race Driver 2 one's? There never was a crack... only playable via that mini image and all physical drives plugged off...

well a thing i never figured out was why codename panzers was cracked... this one also had starforce on it... so, there is any hope? :)

i will get the original game in some minutes... sounded very good... like a new fallout... i will give that game a try

the fall has a new type of starforce protection.

this type of protection does need a starforce key i do not know it is harder as dtm2 or not

This 'Fall........' game is it on CD or DVD? And also 'codename panzers' is it a CD or DVD game?
As far as I know the DVD games have more codes to crack (like RD2).The CD versions of games apparently are easier to crack. So I'm led to believe anyway!? ;)

2 cds

first cd has starforce

panzers comes on 3 cds. and afaik the sf3-code from that game was never "cracked". backup-cds could be used with old cd-roms or dvd-roms....sf3 then wasn't aware that a backup was inserted.
