Fixed image for RollerCoaster Tycoon 3?
 

Is there any RCT3 "Fixed image" already? :confused:

Because it seems Frontier is going to release frequent updates for this game, so a fixed image will work way better then fixed exe. :D

The protection of Rct3 is Securom 5 and it has many anti emu features, that you wont be able to play this game in D-Tools or Alc 120 Virtual Drive so it doesnt make sense.

Is anyone able to patch the new 1.1a exe (I read tutorials and all but I obviously can't as my coding knowledge is way too poor)?

Problem with RCT 3
 

Hi all!

My problem in connection with RCT 3 is when i build a new rollercoaster, after 3 minutes open, the G Forces will be 0, so nobody will go to ride.
Is this problem yours as well ?

That's is not true. Söldner is SecuROM 5 protected. And I emulated it perfect with Alcohol 120%. Took very long to start but it started! So it's not true that SecuROM 5 can't be emulated!

I tried with Larry 8 (Secu 5.03.06).
If you mount an Image wirh D-Tools or Alc 120% Virtual Drive, you
get message Conflict with emu...
But if you burn on a cd and turn just RMPS emu on, you can Play it.
So a Mini Image (Which is mounted by D-Tools) is senseless.

I only use Alcohol 120% nothing else isntalled. That's might be the reason why I don't get conflict! ;)

thats no longer possible.

the unpatched version only had securom5, allowing you to emulate it. but the patches additionaly brought custom anti-emu stuff by jowood, effectively blocking all virtual drives.

the latest patch (30520) also refuses to start if the patin-coffin drivers (blindwrite) are installed.

I tried and tried with alcohol but couldn't get it to work and kept getting the emu error. I then tried virtualcd6 with the geometry setting and it worked perfectly, i dont know if the patches affect it cuz i havent tried
