Why does my ps2 espn 2k5
 

I just backed up my espn 2k5 game when I play it the game freezes and the anouncers are way off. Can someone please help me i am using nero to back them up.

Sounds like a dodgy media problem...

Every once in a while Ill get a dvd movie that does this on my dvd player. Also it doesnt matter if its burned or original. What I do to fix it is, press pause. Usually after I press pause the words will keep going until they catch up to the video. After I unpause everything winds up in sync.

I guess you could try that before burning a new disc.
