Mini Image
How to crate starforce mini images is easy.
But what i'd love to know is how to create small Safedisc 3 Images like on gamecopyworld. |
To create SafeDisc2/3 mini images you can use MIR.
Download it from http://gf.wiretarget.com/ . |
@ Alban
Do you know where I could find a guide/tutorial on how to create a mini image from a starforce proctected game? @ GLH I tried the mini image ripper for safedisc protected games as well, but that never really worked for me. I would like to create a mini image like the one for sims 2 on gamecopyworld. Does any one know where to find a guide on that? Thanks for any replies |
The Sims 2 is protected with Starforce3 and not Safedisc3 !!!

I know about the MIR, but it creates 23 MB large Mini images. I'd love to know how to create about 1MB small mini images like the new for Fussballmanager 2k5 or like KiwiCom said for sims 2 witch are both protected with safedisc 3 and not starforce (like all games from EA).
How to crate Sarforce mini Image: Make image with starforce 1/2/3 profile, get dpm at low speed. Run your favourite iso editing software Ultraiso/Winiso etc. I used ultraiso. Now delete all files from the image. Click save as, save as bin. For reference, the resulting file size should be 68 208 bytes. Trash the cue. Now get original mds, rename the bin to original mdf. Now you have a mini image that's sufficient to make starforce happy consisting of original mds and mdf with all files removed... So starforce won't see that specific date deing read from hdd at the same time... Now do the usual stuff - unplug physically/disable in bios all ide cd/dvd devices, mount the image on alcohol/dtools virtual drive and it'll work. In german ragegames forum you can find many mini images to download: http://www.ragegames.de/Forum/Board/...p?topic=2478.0 http://members.lycos.nl/guckstduhier...ges-SF3-For-RG |
Thank you very much for the link & the info, alban!!!
