Black & White?
 

Hey all,

I bought a faulty PS2 for £39 inc. Postage. Its a v5/6 and has a messiah modchip in it.

I fixed the power supply problem, and sorted the laser, but its loading backups in black and white. Which wire is it thats making it load the backups in black and white?

Also the controller port wire, now thats a rite bast*rd anit it :mad: what a pain in the ass that is to get in etc. Got it in after like 1000 atempts and then it came loose when i was putting the bottom of the console on, so ad to take it off n do again, but I think the brown piece that hols it in place is broke because it just wont hold it at all, so used some selotape (hehe) to hold the cable up agaist the metal. But its come loose again, so when I fix the black and white I gotta do this again...

Any ideas?

No worries. All fixed. Console working at 100% now :D

RGB Cable causing the problems :)

balls. Controller not working. No power to it.
The controller cable is in, or was, but cant see it now, without taking it apart again!

Any ideas guys?

probably got the wrong end of stick here my backups played b & w ,bought grey scart problem solved ,,, but youve said its sorted colour wise so ignore me
